What this book is: This book is a quantitative analysis of the 2007 show season ranking the top Alpacas in a number of different categories. It was designed to give people a starting point in their research on the Alpaca Industry. This book is for educational purposes only. As a breeder/buyer/seller of alpacas you should view the contents of this book as a resource and starting point only, and not an absolute reference guide.
What this book is not: This book is not able to be 100% accurate since it is only as good as the data that we were able to obtain. We did find ÒholesÓ in some of the data (for example, missing and/or wrong ARI numbers, clerical errors, etc.). We did find that some shows failed to report Color Championship Classes. This data was very small in numbers (less than 2%).
