This book traces the history of John Henry and Dona Lael who moved their family from Hickory, North Carolina to Central Illinois in about 1907. The book also provides a list of the descendants of John Henry Lael up to the present generation. Family group photographs taken at the annual Lael Reunion held in Jerome, Illinois are also included.
