John Willy alias Archerd was the founder of the Archerd family in the United States. His parents were Thomas and Jane Willy of Middle Lambrook, a tiny village in the Parish of Kingsbury Episcopi in southern Somerset, England. John emigrated to America in the late 1790Õs. Descendants of his brothers and sisters are located in Australia, New Zealand and the United States. The history of the family in the United States is the subject of this book.
