The Jackpine WritersÕ Bloc and The Blank Canvas Gallery and Education Center are proud to offer the 2011 20 x 20 Art & Words Exhibit.
Twenty artists were asked to submit artwork. Twenty writers agreed to have their names randomly paired with one of the artists. The writers were given a time-frame to visit and view the artwork and then react by poetry or prose with thoughts inspired by the art.
ItÕs a pleasure to see how combining the inspiration of visual artists with artists of the written word has produced the enjoyable and thought provoking work that follows.
