These pages come straight from the real photos we took in Vengeance Company, 3/7. Deployment shots, field fun, barracks stupidity, motor pool purgatory, and a few from the Marine Corps Ball where the only thing classy was the dress blues Ñ and even that fell apart after the first drink. ItÕs all the everyday moments we never thought twice about back then but still remember better than most of the years after.
Some of the faces in these pictures didnÕt get the chance to grow old with us. Their memory hangs in here the same way it hangs in the back of our heads Ñ heavy when it wants to be, quiet when it needs to be, and always there whether we talk about it or not.
This isnÕt some polished tribute or a recruiterÕs fantasy. ItÕs just the real snapshots of who we were when we were young, unbreakable, and raising hell in places most people canÕt even point to on a map. If you were there for any of it, youÕll feel it.
