Every so often, I am inspired to write a top list. During the past 3-4 years, IÕve posted many top lists on my online blogs. TheyÕre usually funny, but not always. This is a collection of 40 funny ones.
Since I read and watch the news a lot, some of the lists are about politics or world leaders. Others are about life and society. One list is actually a private email I sent to comedian and actress Chelsea Peretti. I needed another funny list to round out the book, so I included it.
If you like laughing at top lists, David Letterman broadcasts one on The Late Show every night. His long-running, CBS program is entertaining and his lists always have at least a few funny things. In part, LettermanÕs Top 10 lists have inspired me to write funny lists, too.
Enjoy my first humor book. I anticipate writing more. ItÕs on my to do list (which is a totally different list).
By the way, just so youÕre not surprised, there is one topless picture and a few profane words. They were used to articulate different things.
