Why does anyone publish all their best inventions in a book? There are two answers. Firstly most inventions listed here will each take millions of dollars of risk capital to develop successfully. A poorly designed product can simply gift any profits to those later into the market. So while the author is confident all his inventions would be profitable, he is not betting his house on it!
Each invention took several revisions to arrive at the finished concept you see. You should fathom all aspects of your chosen invention concept before producing a blue-print. So secondly the author hopes to get invited to develop these inventions further within his own Open Source Invention Community (OSIC). There is a limit on how well an invention can be explained on paper. A marketplace can be unforgiving if just one product benefit or marketing detail is off target with consumers.
