IGOR GUBERMAN "75..." translated by YEVGENIY SOKOLOVSKY. Bilingual Edition. ///// Igor Guberman is one of the most original and interesting poets writing in Russian today. Many lines from his quatrains - on human nature, love, anti-Semitism, Jewish and Russian histories - have acquired a legendary status in contemporary Russian lexicon. Guberman's ironic, pithy and yet philosophical verse, presented here in a masterful translation, should appeal to anybody who is interested in contemporary poetry and issues of translation.
