8060 explores the history of a 31-acre parcel in Delaware County, Ohio. From the oceans and their marine organisms that created the site's bedrock to some of the first inhabitants 2000-4000 years ago, much has left its mark on this bit of ground, not the least of which are a couple of large limestone quarry pits from the early twentieth century. In this book we explore the geology, archaeology, and history of the place in an attempt to uncover just what it is that makes 8060 so unique.
