This book is a study of the Bible Character Job; his character and place in God's purpose. His sufferings and response to them are seen to foreshadow those of Christ. He acts as mediator for his three friends just as Christ can mediate for us. The book is thus about God's plan of redemption for errant men and women who seek salvation.
