Wherever I go, home comes with me, is a bilingual publication that explores how we build a home when we leave our native land and settle our house under a new sun. In the immigrant experience, creating a home becomes an exercise in resistance, a constant search for relationships of familiarity within our new environment, and a way to achieve this is by cultivating and celebrating what keeps us culturally alive. This book emerged as a tool for connecting immigrant homes to their cultural roots, specifically to the Day of the Dead celebration.
