As a sophomore in high school at Carter G. Woodson in Buckingham County (1968), I became highly interested in photography while in an Upward Bound program at the University of Virginia. This avocation became a lifelong passion and continued greatly when I bought my first 35 mm film camera in 1975.
The photos in this book primarily cover sixty years of photos I have either taken over the years or collected and saved. Most of my pictures show family members. Other photos are of friends and close acquaintances.
I hope to use these photos to showcase the various ways we have interacted and socialized as a family. I have only included a small sample of all the pictures I have accumulated over the years.
