A musical childrenÕs book that takes inspiration from the words of Albert Einstein, ÒIf you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.Ó Words from the author: ÒI have wanted to be an educator since my senior year of high school, and have loved music since I was a child. I started piano lessons in fourth grade and continued through high school where I was also involved in marching band, concert band, pep band, and jazz band. In college, I have also been involved in all kinds of music ensembles. Recently in a class called Elementary General Music Methods, my instructor, Dr. Sarah Van Waardhuizen, had a wild idea for the class to write childrenÕs books. What started as an idea that none of us were sure of, turned into a massive collaboration that I have become extremely proud of.Ó
