Comic legend John Buscema (Giovanni Natale Buscema; December 11, 1927 Ð January 10, 2002) might best be known for his sword-and-sorcery icons, or his superhero renditions, but his long career took him through many genres, including the rough and tumble world of the American Western. His Hall-0F-Fame career covered parts of six decades, and his name is uttered among the greats of the industry; he was also one of the most prolific comics books artists in the Silver Age. His Western portfolio is extensive, but sadly, most of it is not in the public domain. However, everything that is Western, John Buscema, and public domain, is right here in this great book!
