This Psalter is completely developed for the author's own personal use. It comes out of almost a decade of praying the Divine Hours. The Psalter is a gift that I have been given. This book's purpose is to do what no one ever took the time to do for me. Which is to give me a resource for prayer.

The pace of the Psalter is meant for a person to pause about every three hours for prayer.

I have continued to gravitate more toward the seven hours of the Trappists. In the words of the father of Monasticism, Saint Benedict, Òprayer should be short and often.Ó Simply put, for me prayer becomes more continual with more frequent and shorter pauses. Opposed to fewer but longer ones.
