MARTIN KANE, PRIVATE EYE was a long-running radio and TV series which starred a number of actors in the leading role Ð Lloyd Nolan, Lee Tracy, Mark Stevens, and William Gargan. Kane was a pipe-smoking, tobacco-loving, hard-fisted private eye whose calm exterior hid a passion for justice which emerged, often violently, when the need arose. The radio show ran from 1949-1952, and the TV series a couple years longer, ending in 1954. The comic run was brief, but features the artwork of comics masters Wally Wood and Joe Orlando, and was cited in the infamous Seduction of the Innocent. You can count on Gwandanaland Comics to bring your past back to life! We're magic that way!
