In the absence of all thought, anything is possible. But in this fast paced world, can we achieve this state of ÒRasasvadaÓ [Sanskrit for the taste of Bliss]. This is where Mindfulness plays a huge role. It is about having thoughts, but only related to the present moment. To move from dwelling in the past, or procrastinating about the future, to being only in the NOW.

But ÒWhy? Well the benefits of this are well documented Ð from better mental health through to even a better immune system. Perhaps even one day reaching that often over used term Ð being enlightened.

To help achieve this productive state Ð sometimes we need to be taken by the hand. This Journal is designed to bring you into the now (which is a type of meditation) through simple tasks and activities. By doing one of the tasks each day, as well as the act of writing what you are grateful for, you will block out the external world and simply beÉ Mindful.
