In 1775 John Farrar and Daniel Boone ventured into the Kentucky wilderness to help colonize a wild area in Cherokee country. Added to the extreme dangers from wild animals and Indians, the War for Independence was beginning and both men were Patriots, eager to join the fight. They developed a close friendship which lasted until Boone's death in 1820. Follow their lives, their loves, and their military service, all guided by their Christian faith and patriotism.
