In 2016, the conspiracy theory Pizzagate was born. Pizzgate posited that an elite group of individuals, including Hillary Clinton & Co., were trafficking children through pizza places throughout the country to use in their occult and hedonistic practices. Having been largely debunked time and time again, the theory continues to pick up steam, while sites that attempt to preserve the Pizzagate narrative are time and time again deleted. The deletion, while good for democracy, does not do well for preserving these narratives for future academic study. This Variorum attempts to preserve the Pizzagate narrative for future anthropologists, historians, and the morbidly curious. The Variorum is the ideal format, since it allows one to critique the absurd claims of the Pizzagate theorists while preserving their language.
Volume II is also available, which has the complete source text for reference to other Pizzagate retellings.
