All entries are based on recollections, research or interviews conducted by the authors. The subjects range from the teenagers living in Katherine today to well-known historical figures, born and bred Territorians to recent arrivals, the trauma of Cyclone Tracy to the beauty of our native birds. This is a cross section of Territory life Ð pain, passion and humour set against the magnificence of our country. Every effort has been made for historical accuracy. However these pieces are written from a very personal perspective and might include memories in which details differ from othersÕ accounts of the same incident, person or subject.
