ÒI have had an extraordinary life, and I continue to do so today, but it is from a far different vantage pointÑa position of much greater dependency. So I wanted to write about it, to share with others not only the experience of aging, but everything that comes with itÑthe highs and the lows, the insights and the anger, the rewards and the burdens. While there is a tendency to feel helpless and hopeless in this situation after such a rich life experience, I want to provide something uplifting, to make people feel better.
