This book is an English translation of Chapter 8 of the autobiography of Gustav Lenz, pastor in the GŸtzlaffshagen parish from 1835-1846. GŸtzlaffshagen, today Gos_aw, Poland, was in Kreis Greifenberg, Pomerania, Prussia, and included the villages of Glanse and Zimdarse. Among the topics discussed are the history of the church and the village, daily life, Separatism, and Christmas celebrations. Included are several historical and contemporary photos of the church.
