Somewhere in the world a child is reading a very special book, a magical bookÉ and is thrown head-over-heels into an exciting adventure that takes him or her to another country - where things can
be quite different! Stijn from the Netherlands ended up in England for Guy Fawkes Night, while Ann-Kathrin from Germany found herself all of a sudden in the Netherlands where she helped sell cakes on QueenÕs Day. Curious how they managed these intercultural encounters? This intercultural childrenÕs book (for children aged 8 -12) hopes to raise awareness of the many exciting cultural differences that exist in this world. Young SIETAR hopes the stories will inspire discussions as well as reflections on your own culture, and/or any other cultures that you might have had a chance to encounter!
