We came to Vis on holiday in 2004. After visiting some wonderful places, Vis immediately appealed to us . We bought an old stone house on the island and then in 2006 we moved to Vis full time.
The WearActive* holiday concept was born. Our home now sleeps up to 10 guests per week and our holiday operates on the simple premise that we share our table, our home and our enjoyment of the island of Vis by making the most out of each day. Loving food and living on the island has given us access to seasonal produce and locally sourced food. After requests from lots of our guests, we have put together some recipes with a picture book of life on the island.
If you throw in some exercise, add a clear blue sky and sunshine, include a glass of wine, good conversation and great fresh local produce, we find its easy to enjoy your food.
