The Battle of Aachen took place between 2 October and 21 October 1944 and was the first city on German soil to be captured by the Allies. Aachen was one of the largest urban battles of the entire war and, it destroyed the city. This book contains 25 squad-to-company-level historical scenarios. While not conjoined in campaign fashion, these stand-alone scenarios allow players to understand a human tragedy that has come to shape our modern landscape. Realistic small unit tactics should result in accurate military outcomes. However, certain liberties regarding force ratios are taken for the sake of playability.
