The Metropolitan City is an administrative division of Italy, operated since 2014. The heart of its statutory legislation (the Metropolitan City Code) is constituted by Paragraph 44, which is the operational hub of this new administrative division. Indeed, it establishes the basic functions that are performed by the Metropolitan City.
