ACTIVATING & DEVELOPING THE PROPHET IN YOU
None can really discuss the prophetic without mentioning intercession. The first person to be addressed as a prophet in the Bible was an intercessor. His name is Abraham (Genesis 20:7). In fact, he was to pray for a man who had unknowingly snatched his wife. We do not really see Abraham going about and prophesying over everyone but we do see him standing in gap for nations. He pleaded with God over the rebellious cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. Prophets are GodÕs intimate friends with whom He shares His heart so that they can intercede. God doesnÕt give us revelations about people and nations to boost our fame or increase our ego. He wants those who can take hold with Him and intercede for the birthing of His purpose and plan upon the earth.
