This book is a nostalgic look back to the more simple childhoods of the past. My mom wrote it in the early 1970Õs, and I have used a lot of my childhood memories in the illustrations. None of us were twins, but I did have two brothers, and we were all close in age. We played like this (when we got along) with fewer material things and had to supplement with our imaginations. IÕve tried to capture the gentle sweetness of my momÕs work in the illustrations. I hope I succeeded.
