In the past four decades of teaching statistics to graduate students, I have experienced student after student who had numerous difficulties in analyzing data with the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS, versions 15 up to the current version 27). This situation is especially true when dealing with advanced statistical procedures. I have seen students having extreme difficulties in analyzing data properly and in interpreting and in writing the results from the SPSS statistical output in an understandable manner. Over a decade ago, I co-authored three books in which steps and screenshots of advanced statistical procedures were presented, along with narrative on how to write results from these procedures in a clear and understandable manner.
Because of the three books published in 2011 being out of date, I have updated the three 2011 books mentioned above to make them compliant with the current APA Publication Manual (7th ed.). Steps and screenshots on how to run advanced statistical procedures in SPSS Version 27 are provided, along with narrative examples and descriptive statistics tables on writing up SPSS output.
