This book was written in conjunction to the children's book "Advik's Forever Family." While that book aims to teach children about international adoption and empathy, this book's goal is to educate parents about the topic and how to share information with their children. Inside you will find a brief history of the institution of adoption, information on the adoption process, a guide to talking with children about adoption, and a summary of the children's book. A resource section was also included in the back for further study of the topic.
