Presenting the Innu language ÒBescherelleÓ! Innu verb conjugations are of an unequaled richness when compared to conjugations of verbs in English and French, and even to conjugations of other languages in the Algonquian language family. This two-volume guide contains an introduction to the language, the morphology of verbs, and the organization of the conjugations, with model verbs that illustrate all of the conjugations documented to date for the dialects of Innu spoken in Quebec. Volume 1 contains all the verb classes, with the exception of the transitive animate verbs (VTA), which are the subject of Volume 2.
