Alis Propriis Volat is a Latin term meaning "she flies with her own wings." Throughout Autumn's four years of high school, she has not only gotten to know the world around her but know and understand herself and her place in it. Writing has been by her side for as long as she could remember and she will continue to fly with a paper and pencil even after she graduates from the APEX Creative Writing program. This book is a collection of her senior year poetry and short stories. This is not the end of her journey but the beginning of a new take off.
