publishing. This volume has more of your favorite characters like the Black Terror,
Miss Masque and the Fighting Yank. It also has tales of the Sea Eagle, the Phantom
Detective and the Silver Knight
In February of 1942 Nedor Comics published the first issue of AmericaÕs Best Comic. It
was an anthology series starring the Black Terror, Doc Strange, Pyroman, and Miss
Masque. The series ran for 31 issues. It certainly had one of the best line ups of
characters in comics. And was aptly named.
This book was compiled with the best images currently available. That stated, these
comics are seventy years old. The best efforts have been made to make the pages as
enjoyable as possible but not every panel is perfect and some allowances for the age
of the books need to be considered when judging the overall contents.
