The topics discussed in this book were written by a group of women whose primary intent is to bring awareness to issues that they feel matter in todayÕs society. Their hope is that through awareness they can promote and inspire action towards change. The topics range in subjects such as domestic violence, effects of media on women and children, social media, benefits of children playing, victimization of Asian women and how to avoid fraud. Though the subjects are varied the intent is the same Ð to give voice to issues that are affecting our society and bring to light the need for change.
