Webster defines a philosopher as ÒOne who seeks wisdom
or enlightenment.Ó He defines philosophy of life as an overall vision of or attitude of life. A student of philosophy, A person whose philosophical perspective enables him to meet trouble with equanimity. The expounder of a theory in a particular area of experience.
If these definitions are correct, anyone can be a philosopher and as such, I am writing this document as one who by experience of 90 years has the vision to look backward and forward to share my views. I have been very fortunate to live long enough to meet extraordinary people, visit many parts of the world and share experiences that are both common and unusual. I feel compelled to place these views in this book. I do not expect this will change the thinking of the world, but at least will give the reader a chance to think and laugh.
