The second book in the Anschlie§end die Sendereihe series looks at the Mikoyan-Gurevich I-270 rocket interceptor. With clear influence from the Messerschmitt Me 263 (Junkers Ju 248) rocket fighter that the Soviet armies had captured, the I-270 proved the design could work but was to be considered a dead end as advancements in turbojets and the commencement of surface-to-air missiles made the need for a point defense interceptor redundant.
This issue features numerous color profiles and 3-view illustrations of the relevant aircraft discussed in the text.
