John Reese (1765-1823) and Susan Owen (1775-1832) had thirteen children. Five of them joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. These men and women and their progeny made diverse contributions to the American West. They became merchants, businessmen, explorers, politicians, thespians, artists, and Church leaders. This monograph highlights some of their trials and accomplishments.
