This textbook presents how to apply information technology systems in order to create, assist in the creation and manage information so that managers can manage to the best of their abilities. Given the experiential content, this textbook does not put forth information technology as a be-all, end-all, the ends to means, but as a tool, albeit a highly sophisticated tool, put in place so that business managers can achieve the goals of the enterprise.
