The island archipelago of Palau, in the western Pacific, has a rich prehistory dating back more than two thousand years.
During august and September 2015, Dr. Scott Fitzpatrick and a team from the University of Oregon undertook archaeological excavations at four prehistoric sites in Palau's Rock Islands.
