Artist Villa is designed in a rural area in Central Mexico and promotes the idea that creativity arises as a natural response to the stimuli of our environment. With a consistent pattern that prevails as the exterior envelope of the different buildings, the design intent is to provide the artist a space of retreat in an adapting environment.
Through a simple exploration of light, color, movement, and form as design elements, the Artist Villa is a mystic space that is conducive to various forms of creativity.Ê Just as art arises, the architecture of this project emerges from simple geometry to ultimately arrive at its own complexity.
