When Douglass the dragon gets angry because he isnÕt allowed to attend school, he casts a spell on the world. The spell ensures people will forget the sounds, faces, and names of the alphabet, and he hides each letter in strange places. Douglass renders the alphabet useless.
But Azee, a young boy with magical powers, sets out to retrieve the hidden letters and restore the alphabet. He finds ÒaÓ under an ape. ÒDÓ is dancing among the dirty leaves. ÒPÓ is splattered on a peaceful penguin. Although the dragon attempts to thwart AzeeÕs mission, the little boy pushes on until he locates all of the letters.
This picture book for children follows Azee as he saves the day and teaches about the wonderful signs and sounds of the alphabet.
