Bach VIOLIN sonatas 1-6 (bwv 1014-1019)
transcribed for WIND INSTRUMENTS
the transposing was done using Finale. ( Mus files and Xml files are also available if you want to further manipulate this music.)
The new keys are selected to fit the range of wind instruments, (i.e. no notes lower than B or Bb), and,
some keys were changed to make things easier for those with limited technique new keys with no more that 1 or 2 sharps or flats).
Accompanying pianists can use the published scores in the original keys and play on an electronic keyboard that transposes.

(21 of the 24 movements are included.3 movements 1014-1, 1015-2 and 1018-3 were omitted because they are too ÔviolinisticÕ, i.e. double stops, or extreme arpeggiation.
Some movements with range of 2 _ octaves are presented in two versions, as Bb to high F for sax, and C to high G for flute ).
