In 1915-1916 San Diego hosted the Panama-California Exposition in Balboa Park. A book was published in June 1916 entitled "The Architecture and the Gardens of the San Diego Exposition", consisting of a series of photographs and descriptions. In this new work "Balboa Park 100 Years After The Panama-California Exposition", photographs were taken by Keith Schooler in 2015 to precisely match those from the 1916 book. These provide a Òthen and nowÓ or Òpast and presentÓ type of book. Each set of photographs is accompanied by text describing the historical context, especially as related to the 1915 Panama-California Exposition that was held in the park.
