As a cancer father, I have witnessed incessant instability on a far-reaching human scale É emotionally, physically and financially thanks to childhood cancer. When GodÕs Greater Plan exposes you to real hardships, you quickly notice the good versus the bad in people, you bear witness to concern versus indifference, you become the recipient of either benevolent outreach or uncaring coldness. As a cancer father, I recognize the value in what it means to be kind, empathetic and compassionate. True compassion requires lending a helping hand to those with whom we do not relate. Truth be told sincere kind-heartedness defines it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eAs such, in homage to my three treasured children, starting on the day after my birthday (November 17th) and finishing on my actual birthday (November 16th) the following year, I shall embark upon a 365 Consecutive Days of Kindness journey, and share with you my daily kindliness experiences along the way.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIt is time to reclaim the value of kind-heartedness.
