The Brewpubs Committee of the Brewers Association (BA) was established by the BA Board of Directors in 2011 with the goal of helping to ensure that the BAÕs programs and benefits are relevant to brewpub members.
The Committee realized early on that the knowledge of ÔHOWÕ to train was what was lacking rather than the knowl_edge of ÔwhatÕ to train. Resources and onsite employees, e.g., brewers, are plentiful for providing the content of what to train. We wanted to provide a resource that showed how to pass along the content. The approaches suggested are based upon successful programs and the experience of those providing input for the creation of the manual.
