Although carved up over the centuries, Bertie has a nice collection of Colonial records, as well as early American. This collection spans from 1737 to 1903. This book contains records up to 1834 for roads (another box remains) and all of the bridge records in one large folder (1749-1903). There is a separate book for the mill and ferry records.
