This anthology collects the best student essays written in DePauw University's first-year seminar program during the fall of 2015. The essays were nominated by DePauw faculty members and chosen for inclusion by the university's writing committee. Each essay is accompanied by a brief introduction and the assignment for which the essay was written. This is the fourth year that the Writing Program at DePauw has recognized the success of our student writers by collecting their work in an anthology.
