When his family was killed in an early bombing raid in Poland, Blackhawk dedicated his life
to destroying the Nazis and everything they stood for. Blackhawk and his crew fought in
World War Two, and when the war ended, they became soldiers of fortune and adventure,
traveling the world wherever the need and the lure took them. Many stories featured the
artwork of masters of the day such as Reed Crandall, Bill Ward, Bill Quackenbush and Chuck
CUIDERA.
