The Storefront Studio, a community-focused architecture and design studio at the University of Washington, has
produced work for several towns in Washington State over the last fifteen years. In 2017, Storefront Studio worked alongside the community of Bothell, which has been considering several revitalization projects for a number of years. The students identified three study zones in which to link the city to its natural setting, uncover historic facades and authentic character, and transform underutilized pedestrian passages into productive gathering spaces and retail environments.
