Jack St. John was a career Foreign Service Officer. He was born and raised in Philadelphia. His Foreign Service assignments took him to Consulates and Embassies in Monterrey, Mexico, London, England, and Managua, Nicaragua, as well as the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, and the State DepartmentÕs offices in Washington, D.C. He was married for 52 years to his wife Elsa and is the father of three children: Renee, Terry and Chris. These are his stories.
